Another birth control question: do you use hormonal or non hormonal and which one?

I got an IUD last summer and was planning to do non hormonal but got talked into hormonal to skip periods & I regret it. packed on 30lbs and back to being a depressive mess. I know they said the hormones aren't linked to weight gain but jeez the cravings are out of control.

Also, for those with an IUD, is there any way to talk them into giving you a pain med when getting it put in? I wanted to die last time 😫

Benefits says the two are equivalent in coverage except three differences - deductible $3K premium vs $3.5k basic, no monthly payment for basic and no $2K company contribution for basic HDHP. Am I the only one whose time entries get worse the busier and more chaotic a specific case is? Like for example preparation for a dispositive hearing with a lot of factual and legal issues that’s treated like a fire drill. My time entries are chaotic and rereading at the end of the month I feel like the time was totally justified but also like wow it sounds like we were jumping all over the place and we were, lol time entries were not your typical sequential one step at a time thing.
