Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.
This is the second time they pushed back their consideration... 😞

In the US there isn’t an equivalent that is accepted for manager promotion. So you’ll probably need to earn a US CPA when you’re here in order to be promoted. DM and I can send you their contact info.
Holla at me I’m PwC
Yea, just sent you a DM
There’s really limited options to hire you as a foreign worker unless you transfer with BDO to their LA office using an L1 intra company visa or the Big 4 sponsor you for an H1B visa which requires you to win a lottery in March of each year.
Your chances are higher with BDO USA using the L1B visa
As someone said before, firms don’t usually sponsor foreign workers unless it’s a inter company transfer (L visa) or a foreign student in an American college.
You should talk to BDO USA; I recently moved to BDO and I know we use BDO South Africa a lot (even contractors in SA)…that would be the easiest and quicker way to come to the US
Thank you I will do!
Do you have a CPA. Without it you wouldn’t transfer at the manager level anyways. There’s a partner here from S/A maybe I can put you in contact to talk ?
So I would be completing the equivalent to CPA next year. I am already qualified chartered management accountant with CIMA.
That would be great if you could
Manager?
Audit senior currently but would be manager if I stayed but would apply for a lower position to secure sponsorship
You'd only be sponsored if the employer can show that they can't find a qualified US candidate to fill the role. We hired a few people from Deloitte India. You would either need some specialized skill or have CPA / be a manager or higher. If you're brought it as a senior, they'd need to get creative.
I was H1b and I was hired since associate
