It’s easier to learn from people than books. Do what your favorite boss did. Don’t do what your least favorite boss did.

Loved this book- had to read it for a class back in college. It really breaks down why some managers are better than others, and what to expect when you’re new

I specialize in nonprofit tax and I’m trying to increase my knowledge in my complex or unusual nonprofits tax issues since I don’t get the exposure that much at work (international activities, private benefit, UBI, etc.). Does anyone have any books or CPEs that they recommend? Or courses that they took that went into detail on this? Most of what I find is more about NFP management skills then the more technical side of it.

Book recommendations? I come from non-Union/low budget line producing but I’m now working for a “real agency”. I’m looking to learn more about SAG processes, working with vendors, bidding process, etc. I know most of this knowledges will come from actually working on projects but I’m curious if there are any good resources out there.
