Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Hour long first round interview with a MM consultant friendly PE firm next week — should I expect a model? Or are they likely to fill that hour primarily with behavioral and random technical questions?

Also, if I blow it, is there any risk of burning the bridge with the HH?
