Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. Outwardly, I don’t seem stressed so no one notices but actually I usually feel like I have a cold: fatigue, headache, sore throat, sinus infection. When a task is done, i stop feeling like crap. It’s been like this since law school. Any tips on managing stress or moving towards doing good work without my body shutting down lol?

I know it won’t make a big difference in the payslip as it’s a taxable benefit but is it worth keeping the private medical in the UK? All this time I’ve never used it and we need to go through the NHS first anyway for pretty much everything.

I’m on the high side of the BMI scale and really want to prioritize healthy movement. Not ready to formally go back to the gym or do fitness group classes inside (both from a covid mentality and feeling uncomfortable due to size). I have a therapist that I see twice a month and it has helped me to some extent. I feel like I’m in a general plateau.
