Any people applied for tech scholarships in master programmes? There are things available out there - since there is a gender gap in the tech industry, scholarships are available to encourage women to get into tech. Does anyone have any tips on how to make a stronger application.

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute. I am having discussions with my teachers on ways that I can better support them and the students when remote.

My company is in need of a update online, could use your opinions! We need to better showcase our culture (caring, supportive, fun, intelligent IT industry leaders) as well as diversity. We are predominantly white still but making strides to improve here. What’s the best way to approach? I don’t want to seem disingenuous or that we are singling out our diverse employees (asking for photos). We have a remote and on-site workforce about 350+ EEs. Non white EEs make up about 35% of the company rn.

As an indigenous LatinX I worry that if I put indigenous it won’t tick the “diversity” box for the algorithm or recruiters. Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Key positives for my current employer are pay and security. But my new role within the company isn't working for me, and ultimately I don't think it is for the company either.

A much much smaller (20 people) company offered me a role.
