Who can relate? 🥴😂

Say you’re an Assurance Senior 3 and want to transfer soon as you hit Manager back to your hometown office. Should you secure the manager promotion at your current office first or go ahead and initiate the transfer at S3? I’m scared that they won’t accept me over their current S3s and so I think the safer bet is to make manager first then transfer. Deloitte EY PwC
Also, how desperate are firms for Managers these days? I know seniors and staff are in demand but I rarely hear about Managers.
Hi. Anyone there?

If the toxicity issues seem to be deep-rooted in the company, then there's little you can do to remedy the situation. Dealing with one person is manageable, but not when the whole things is rotten. Sometimes it is best to just start planning your exit strategy.
Agreed. Toe the line, follow expectations to a T, and start sending out resumes
This is not the first time I’ve seen this at that org.
You can reference prior emails & corporate policy. Make it clear the tone isn't appropriate given a professional environment. Also upsell your accomplishments. Most micromanaging types are lousy at their job so they do busy work cause they're incompetent & clueless. When dealing with toxic people all you can do is repeat it or redirect that energy till they get the message your not their anxiety stress ball. If it's still an issue read them & ask yourself does he care or can I find higher pay & more respect elsewhere? Make friends with their boss so that they learn not to mistreat you.
Great advice…other issue is the boss and the micromanager are close and have worked with each other for years. starts from top down - so can’t trust the next level either.
Do your other coworkers get treated the same? If you can't resolve the issue with your manager directly, you should reach out to your HR department for some help. If all else fails then scram.
