Any tips for someone looking to break in equities S&T from a 1LoD supervision role?

Have a great network of S&T folks. Have the 7, 24, and 63 (will probably need 57), and understand I might have to take a step back in title (VP currently).

Any tips? Has anyone here made a similar change before?

Any particular segment of sales good for ex-finance? Currently 3 years in at fortune 100 bank on business development side (on commercial loan originations team but no commission/targets at the associate level, basically do credit analysis and build pitch books for the producers) This role has been great as I have gotten both analytical experience and tasted sales experience (I say taste bc I’m not the producer) but would potentially like to transition to a sales role that is less analytical

Does PHR certification help in India, as this is globally recognised how much valuable is this currently in indian job market.

Do we got some good offers or its another certificate just to add to CV after so much of investment & time I don't want to get this wasted !!

What's the best way to switch from sales to completely marketing domain? Have been taking up product marketing initiatives and content management as secondary KRAs to develop a base(My primary KRA is business development). Desperately want to get into healthcare strategy consulting. 13 years of healthcare clinical experience including project work. MBA. But keep getting told by recruiters that I don't have enough experience to be a Consultant or Manager but that I have too much experience to enter in every level such as a Senior Associate. Anyone moved from Product Management to Product Marketing? Pros, cons, regrets?

But a lot of posts here making me think it’s harder to break into than I expected (non-technical background). Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.
