Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

I did mine at 36 with a kid. All doable, it's just a nother test.
I love this thanks
Its not gonna be fun. But if any of us can do it, so can you! Make a schedule and stick to it, just make it a habit. I was lucky that I was able to study before starting full time and I knocked out 3 between graduation and my start date. Finished the last one after waking up early and studying after dinner every night for a few weeks.
You got this!
❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you. I’m using Becker too and heard lots of good things.
I took the tests with a newborn as my study partner and a full time job. What worked best for me was taking one day off a week without thinking about or studying for the exams. Giving myself a decompress day helped me get a lot more out of the other 6.
I’m literally on the same place as you! 9 week baby and just bought CPA materials. Thought of starting with BEC first to get a self esteem boost haha. Best of luck!!
if you do 2-3 hours of studying a day and 10 hours on weekends you can probs knock it out in a month!
obvi in nonbusy season!

Wait. How old is your kid? If you’re only 30, you must have a smart kid if they’re studying for the CPA!
Good luck!
Def an investment for your career! I took it when I was 29 right after undergrad graduation, and def was lucky to knock them off before starting full time. I studied about 10 hours a day, no social life. It wasn’t easy and required commitment and sacrifices, but trust me, it’s worth it in the end! Best of luck!
That’s the story with one of the partners I work with! You can do it!
I was 24 with a kid and studied for it back when you had to take all 4 parts by hand over a 2-day period. Used Becker self study and passed the first try. You got this!
