Hi fellow creatives! I’m looking for any and all kinds of creative people to participate in a research study!
www.creativitystudy.com
I’m a creativity researcher working on my dissertation on the psychology & neuroscience of creativity. I’m interested in understanding how different types of creative careers, side hustles, and artistic outlets relate to our emotions, mental health, & well-being. Ultimately to help build awareness, resources, & improve the lives of creative people.

Sorry you’re going through this, OP
Though I don’t have first-hand experience, I’ve witnessed similar things from the sidelines...
Always remember to cover your own ass. HR may be helpful at times but they are NOT your friend. They exist solely to protect the company, it’s c-suite, and the shareholders.
I hear you. Make sure you print hard copies of all emails with the offender, as well as any correspondence you have with HR. Wishing you good luck.
I highly suggest you hire a lawyer first so they can guide you properly!
Just a 1-hour consult. Should be a few hundred but would be worth it
Sorry that happened OP. I've spent time around HR and corporate legal and all I can say is that HR should not be trusted. Remember to back up absolutely every email and scrap of evidence to your own possession, keep a log if you don't already. Keep your nose completely clean and get familiar with employment law in your area before going in. Perhaps consult your own legal sources or ombudsperson beforehand.
