Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?
Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.

Best practices to avoid burning out in FDD?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

But a good interviewer can put you at ease quickly.
Of course! That’s normal.
Everytine. I just remember that everyone I’ll speak to has had horrible diarrhea at some point in their life and the worst thing that could happen is I don’t get a job.
Really the worst thing that could happen is YOU could get horrible diarrhea.
All the time!
If I'm not a little nervous, it usually means I don't care, which is a good predictor that I'm going to bomb it.
Freaking never. Here’s my 5 step secret to any kind of sales process.
1. Ask what they actually want
2. Write down their answers in list form
3. Honesty say what you can do well, what you can do okay, and what you can’t.
4. Give them a quote.
5. Write a thank you note for the meeting.
I’m so sure of this advice that I’ll even say my real name: Matt Lazarus. Thank you for your time and attention.
Yes. Every time.
I’ve caught my hands trembling before, stuttering, I’ve had it all. Seems to disappear when I’m talking to shops I have no interest in. I hate it.
Ok makes me feel better I’m not alone. I always thought after some time we’d get over the nerves haha
Just bring a bottle of champagne with you
