Voted for Hillary too. What's done is done, move on and accept it. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and you need to respect that. If you don't you're only making this harder for yourself and everyone on your team.
OP, my family is from a country where bad mouthing political figures could have your whole family murdered or tortured. It is because America is such a great country with its democratic society that will always make it so great. And before you all start talking shit, I am a Hillary supporter and American citizen. I am not going anywhere lolz.
No. Institutions of free speech matter more than any candidate, party, or election.
OP might be a troll
Should people opening supporting Hillary be fired? This is what's wrong with people today

Nah get the f outta here with that shit
I feel this way... because I think it goes against all diversity initiatives and company policy to promote a racist xenophobic hate monger and self pronounced rapist. I'm uncomfortable and less productive in the presence of these people and want them gone.
Another reason not to work at EY -- they employ illegals like OP who need to be deported.
Or relocated to where this is somehow acceptable or more tolerated.
Maybe K. Maybe...
Also maybe true.
All the dramatic responses aside, most offices / companies have clear guidelines on political issues. It is usually considered inappropriate in the office, no reason for folks to be made uncomfortable (or develop resentment) by coworkers. Save the political commentary for outside he workplace
Racial prejudice has always been the enemy and we've never had a more clear understanding of who to target in this fight. Now they literally wear a hat. It's not any more pertinent or prominent, just more crystallized.
Thanks P1 I appreciate that perspective and hope that parental leave is the one thing he will follow through with because the rest of it appears to be pro big business with only negative consequences for the rest of us...
Sigh, we were doing so well...
Yes it was a shit slinging thread, from the original post.
Yes, but we had some growth towards the end
If I accept them I'm being forced to accept their anti-diversity mindset.
Alright ... sounds like we just embrace these people. Unless they are paraphrasing directly.
OP these ppl and some of their mindsets existed long before Trump, they are just more comfortable with it now
P1 is that still true when that ideology is universally wrong and amoral? I just don't want to work with them, because I perceive their vote as an amoral choice, severe error in judgement, and a mark on their character. The internal struggle of having to and not wanting to is my problem. The fact that this struggle exists is an organizational problem.
