Anyone else find job postings like this incredibly frustrating? Are they looking for someone full-time, part-time, or per diem? Why not specify straight up?

I’m concerned that my latest job have been less than a year each on my resume but I’m at my wits end and need to start looking. Do you think I will be overlooked because of the length of time at each company?

I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?

You did an interview and your interviewer apologized that the travel time 180minutes was much higher than 30minutes scheduled time for the interview and that It could have been done remotely, but she has to follow the process. I am still waiting for feedback though.

Actively applying now to TAS/FDD senior roles and want to put myself in the best position possible to get an offer. Any advice on how to best prepare for interviews? I got selected in Infosys and offer was about to get release today but at last minute suddenly today infy HR told I was interviewed 5 months 20 days before in infosys so they cannot proceed now as 6 months cool off period. I wanted to know the interview process for the role of program manager in Microsoft. How many technical rounds happen? Are they very technical or mostly based on case studies and frameworks? It would be really helpful if someone could throw some light on this. I have recently received a call from Microsoft and would have my screening today.

Had two rounds of interviews for an in house role and really like the company/job. I followed up Friday regarding next steps and was told they are still interviewing and should be wrapping up soon. I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.

Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever. They don’t even provide a computer or any other remote equipment for the completely remote position. Am I making a mistake? Also, can anyone chime in about being a 1099 employee?
