What is the point of working if you’re not living? I used to work a job where I was gone every other week. It didn’t work for me so I quit. You can definitely find a job where you don’t have to live like that.

Make friends when you travel, then you'll always have people wherever you go. Go to the same coffee shops, areas for dinner, etc when you travel then you'll see the same people more frequently and can make connections.
