Currently I had interview with Capgemini . All rounds were good . I think I have answered all the questions correctly . It seems hiring manager is also interested. Now it has been 4 days , I didn't get any response .

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.

I have been giving interview from last 2 months and yet I haven't got a single offer and people here are getting multiple offers. Even if interview goes nice, I would get rejection mail.

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) Hi! I have recently started working with a SaaS based company as a program coordinator co-op. I graduated last month and I am actively looking to get a full-time job soon. My current co-op ends in mid december and at my current company there isn’t any operations/program/project mngmt teams as of now. While my manager often indirectly hints of future opportunities in the company, he also keeps asking me to come up with interests in other departments of the company. I am not sure what this means?!

I got offer from XYZ company, but my current company ABC had a call with me and had me stay in the current company. They offered me same offer which XYZ offered. But they officially didn't give any offer letter but they said you will get revised salary in march month. But I didn't receive revised salary. I just have mail confirmation regarding retention offer. Again I spoke to concerned person this month, they said, central team is processing still, in April'22 u will receive revised salary.
