Anyone ever leave a company that was seen as prestigious and then notice family treat you differently? I left a big company for a little one since my role was about to get cut, now my family act very differently to me. Outwardly mocking and suddenly don’t invite me to things. I know they thought I made a lot of money because they knew the place I worked (I didn’t) now I feel like I lost the little respect they gave me my entire life and it really bothers me.

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k

Girlfriend has very obvious high functioning anxiety and body image issues that she admits but thinks she doesn’t need therapy or medication and that reading self-help books will help her. It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? Took my first ever sick day today on account of my very poor and worsening mental health. Just could not bring myself to put in another 14 hour day with back to back meetings and constant activity. Felt very guilty but I honestly wish I could be more honest and actually share with my manager about why I took a day off.

Really trying not to spiral, and my practice group leader has been openly hostile to and dismissive of me lately.
