I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @

I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Depending on the role CNA typically pays above average. As an UW they pay way more than say travelers or Chubb for instance.
Culture? They work you here. Top management changes over every 5-10 years. This causes disruptions. The main thing at CNA is that as long as you have a good manager you should be fine.
Having said all this - I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. I came from Travelers and was sold on opportunity. Boy were they right. Opportunity galore.
Best of luck.
CNA used to be one of the top five commercial insurance writers in the country. They were more competitive during the early 2000s.
I hear it’s toxic. My husband was in leadership there when we were dating.
My friend works in legal NY. They go in 2 days
Been with the company 9 years and located in Chicago. Midwest mentality. It depends on your manager and department like any other company. I have heard underwriters are under pressure and there are management changes. Finance and Treasury tend to promote more and constantly moving. Agree with another post that CNA keeps you busy.
Yea they keep denying my applications. That’s all I got for you.
I’ve always enjoyed working with CNA from the broker end, not sure about how the actual employees enjoy their work though
I worked there for 6 years as an Underwriter, left 2 years ago. Upper management is toxic and it’s a very thankless company. They will work you into the ground and it still won’t be enough. They are constantly restructuring. Just a few weeks ago they let go of a ton of senior leadership, Branch VP’s, etc. Be careful.
I have not heard good things about them OP. Sadly it seems like everyone there is overworked and underpaid and the reviews on Glassdoor don't look too promising either.
