What are your thoughts on getting a CIPP/US privacy certification? I’m a staff counsel mainly focused on compliance for new regulated and unregulated products. I work with privacy attorneys but it’s not my focus. Don’t want to step on toes but always interested in expanding my skillset/value. Not sure my company would pay for it though since I’m not in the privacy department/counsel role.

Got an offer for a L7 role at Goog, tc is 800 annual ( base, stocks, and bonuses). Torn between taking the role and joining Google or staying at the Firm and making partner this year or next at the latest. I feel it is crazy to walk away from such money and can’t justify the grind for 2 more years before making similar income.
