I'm currently on implied status in Canada (applied for an extension before the expiration date on my OWP), but lost my job two months ago. I'm actively applying (and interviewing) for new opportunities. What's a good time to mention to a potential employer that I'm on implied status? I tried coming plain from the first interview, but that has been working against me. The CIC website says I can keep working with an expired WP and SIN but recruiters think otherwise. Help!!!

Hi All, Just finished the process with Alix tech & Digital practice (VP) and A&M PEPI (SA) and got an offer from Alix and waiting for the salary details from A&M. I wanted to know your thoughts regarding the salary expectations for A&M (Their HR didn’t flinch when I asked a salary +15K more than Alix in base)? Do you think they can offer that in PEPI ? I’m starting my exit from Deloitte after 2 years here doing Salesforce implementations, and about 4 years prior to that of more Salesforce implementations. I’ve realized that I love receiving quick/frequent feedback, I prefer to have my compensation correlate to how hard I work, and like working closely with people. For the CFE, did you do anything in addition to the ACFE prep course? The course is just practice questions, so I’m wondering where I can actually learn the information first before that.

Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.
