It’s going to depend on your team/clients (similar to big 4). But I did leave big 4 after getting to manager and I’ve been at Alter Domus for several years now and the work life balance is definitely better.

I’m at AD and my team is finally getting built up after 3 years of high turnover. Expect to be under leveled depending on your client directors involvement in operational procedures. Some are really hands off which makes for a really strong break between management and staff roles

Anybody familiar with the Fisher Investments sales role? They give you a salary first 2 years plus commission, but the only thing that I don’t like is they no longer pay the trail on any account you open after 3 years. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work. Hi all!
Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

I have looked into getting SHRM certification. But should I go back to school and get my masters in Hr?
