Anyone have any tips about working from home and homeschooling two young kids who need constant attention at the same time?!

Unsure if my bf and I are incompatible or if I’m not compromising enough. How do you know the difference? He has so many great qualities that I love but also lacks some qualities that I would like to have but idk if I would be giving up on someone that is great for little things.

Everyone who I want to like me or to hangout with doesn’t respond to my texts or tells me they are too busy. This weekend I reached out to 12 people to see if they wanted to grab coffee or a drink or go for a walk. The number of people who just didn’t respond astounded me. I ended up eating dinner in bed by myself and getting brunch on my own.

Every time I speak to my director (at least twice a week), he works in how he is getting older into the conversation(humorously). For instance, he forgot something non-work related, said “sign of old age”. He recently told a story, said, this is how old people talk. He likes to come across as a grandfatherly figure, but I’m not sure what to say in these encounters. It is always an innocent, non work related context. Have you guys experienced this ?
