Any ideas on planning a quarterly retreat for a startup? Specifically for strategy day and culture. Never planned a quarterly retreat before and is not to sure what it entails. I’ve been told agendas for retreats are very subjective to company but would like some general ideas if anyone has any!

Anyone have any insight on the Orlando staff counsel offices for GEICO or State Farm? I currently work at an established insurance defense firm, but am looking to switch for a better work life balance. How is compensation for a 4th year attorney? Should I expect better work life balance working as staff counsel? My understanding is that I should, but I wanted to see if anyone had experience with either office.

Fully remote and looking at a bicostal lifestyle. I’ve found some nice long term furnished places, but where can I find a monthly rental for when I’m not at home base. Am I the only one who fears a third world war is among us? I've been studying the circumstances that led to WW1 and WW2, and let me tell you, we're not as far as they were. I hope the better judgment of people avoids such a catastrophic outcome.

I always have faith that everything will make sense, and we will move into a better era. Sometimes it's challenging to maintain that faith, but it's always there.
