Anyone here in mangmnt consulting under a TN visa? Would love to “change roles” (I currently do internal business consulting already and process improvement in Finance for a tech company +than6 YOE)… And I am trying to find an opportunity in USA. I have a Business Management and Finance degree, prev financial analysis experience and mostly stood out for being self-starter on automations/process improvements having those financial roles. Would love to learn about workday financials, SAP fin, KPMG

Been working on mostly (about 70%) public sector policy and strategy at Big 4 for most of my career. Often go up against MBB on RFPs and have a decent win rate. Would I be too senior to come in as a lateral hire? I guess it’s all about client networks at this level, and being government, it’s locationally dependent - so which markets have need?

Considering that the end of this year will probably signal the start of a recession, is this a bad time to jump into a new role in Pharma?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Anybody hiring for data analytics positions? I just need a first round interview. I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). I have 10 months of experience and graduated with majors in cs and bus. I interned once at a big 4 acc firm and once as a software engineer.
1 caveat: I am an F1 student on OPT.
