Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

It takes a hot minute. But follow up with your recruiter, let them know you’re interested and see if they can share any guidance on timeline and expectations. Also, email your interview panel to thank them for their time if you haven’t yet.
Hey, yeah I emailed the recruiter Friday to say thank you (mistakenly emailed the person who set up the interview Monday afterword so not sure if she forwarded my thank you). Haven’t heard back from my recruiter yet though. Thanks so much for the advice and guidance.
I've heard BlackRock is notorious for dragging their feet with the hiring process, so I wouldn't get too worried just yet. Sounds like you've already followed up. I'd give it another full week and then follow up again reiterating your interest in the job and asking if they can provide a status update.

Hi there. We are usually pretty swift in the hiring process if the team likes you. However, as has recently been made public, we are at a point in the year where we have paused most external hiring. Any exceptions require additional senior approvals, which would cause delays. I expect our hiring pause is the reason for your delay, unless your recruiter has explicitly told you that this role is a critical business hire.
Hope it works out for you OP, was gonna chime in to say the same - have heard Blackrock's basically going to be a snail for the next few months. Good luck!
If the role doesn't start until February, I feel like they're probably just taking their time. I'd bet they might have some other candidates in the pipeline. But following up and keeping your name top of mind would definitely be strategic!
