It never left. My neighbor just tested positive. I don’t think it will ever be eradicated but it’s manageable now for the most part.
No. What people need to worry about is the complications from the vaccine.
👏👏👏👏👏
As an RDH I aerosolize every person I see. I see anywhere from 14-16 pts a day. I’m literally not afraid of Covid at all. I haven’t been sick since I got Covid the one and only time—while pregnant. Got none of the shots either. I have more fear of contracting hep b than I am Covid
Not me I think we’ve seen the worst of it. The government and medicine found a way to handle Covid, so we won’t be caught off guard again like the last time.
Not so much anymore. I’ve had it three times now and each time it was a bit easier to manage. Was in ICU two weeks before they started the shutdown. Enough people are vaccinated and/or have had it by now that unless the virus completely turns into another new virus. Hard to see how it would be as devastating.
Yes. I just had a friend come down with it.
Only if I’m getting a Covid-19 pay increase
As long as we continue to provide immunizations to those who are willing to take the the shot. As well as the those who are undocumented and willing to take the shot
Never went away. I just recovered from my second infection with it. It’s going to end up being like the flu…some seasons and strains are going to be worse than others.
It never completely left, but the infection rate is so low and the symptoms have been so mild for the vast majority of the population for over a year. I had 2nd round in December despite useless vaccine) and I thought I had a bad cold. People with compromised immune symptoms may still get really sick and die - just like they always have. That's why it's so important to take care of yourself.
Or proof that the virus has mutated to the point that the symptoms are very mild...
Unfortunately it never left, and it will never go away. Cats out of the bag so to speak, which means it’ll roll around every now and then and probably be somewhat seasonal. Basically the equivalent of a new flu.
I’m scared that people who got vaccinated and boosted are the ones who will be ‘died suddenly’
No
I'm a Nurse, tested positive last night!
Aww, how are you doing?
No I’m not afraid of Covid , but I would like to inform those on Medi Care or Medi caid- there has been an influx of Fraudsters charging your health insurance for in home tests !! I just received a bill for 3 different charges for in-home tests in another state !! So guard your Medicare card !! These fraudsters are sneaky!! Report everything that is questionable that you receive in the mail on charges !you did not make!!!
Yes I am. I’m certain there will be another more virulent and insidious virus around the corner.
Im afraid of having to work on patient floors when i have avoided that purposely
Nope. It was the flu in 2020 and will continue to be the flu. More people died from treatment (ventilators and remdesivir) than dying because of the disease itself. Also, an overwhelming majority of deaths were people that had multiple health co-morbidities in the first place
I actually never contracted covid. quadruple Pfizer. Hoping to remain covid free.
Good luck to you. I was a quad vax as well. Got Covid then long Covid. 8 weeks sick. Thankfully no long lasting symptoms with the exception of becoming winded when I sing.
It’s not gone anywhere
