How common are credit checks for roles in accounting or finance positions? Will high utilization on credit card balances and low credit score be a deal breaker? Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. Any advise how to plan the switch. At present have 60K invested in stocks. Thanks

I am selling house and remodeling both master bath and kids bath. Got quote for 29k for both and I buy floors and cabinets.question is I have a very big whirlpool tub and tiles around it discolored. It’s a hassle to lift it up change the tiles and fixtures and put it back. It’s old but works great. Remodeling ppl recommend get rid of it, give space to buyers if they want to buy standalone tub. I thought it adds value to have whirlpool tub. But can’t even change fixture. Should I get rid of it?

Good evening all,
With my partner we are considering making a move to the countryside of Switzerland, with a gorgeous RE project offering incredible views on immaculate mountains and lake. However, it is far away, and will require 1h+ train/car commute vs. 10 min biking right now. We are scared it will bite us back at some point, although COVID helped w/ remote working being a new norm. The project will be done 2024, so I hope to have a more relax job by then.
