Need help. I have $13k saved for my kids age 6, 9, 10 in just a high interest savings account which actually decreased to only .50APY. Looking to move it or do something with it to help it grow more than a few bucks a year. What are my options? Not sure if they'll go college route or where life leads them. I'll be adding approximately $300/month this year to the savings.

Why would you ever want to rollover your 401K into an IRA? It seems like doing so would essentially prevent you from successfully being able to do a IRA to Backdoor Roth IRA conversion due to the pro-rata rule. Am I missing something? Wouldn’t you always want to just rollover your old 401Ks to your new 401K?

I am trying to justify house buying in HCOL city. The house cost is minimum 1.4m .monthly mortgage would be at least 7k(with just around 2k principal) rest goes to either int,tax. Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move. If you invest ur HSA funds into stocks, do they get taxed upon selling? I know they grow tax free. But if I sell them and not make any withdrawals, wud I be taxed?

How do people increase their credit score? Mine’s only around 790/770 for transunion/equifax respectively and its been like that for a while now.
