Not sure if it’s an option in your area but look into Wedgewood weddings - they have a ton of different locations and have completely customizable, all inclusive packages.
It’s easier than traditional venues that’s for sure. Especially if you have a lot of guests from out of town they can just stay in the hotel and minimize additional travel.
In general yes, but of course there are more expensive hotels than others!
It depends on their minimum spend, if they require you to use their vendors, what they include, and how much you need to decorate. Most will include a dance floor and stage if you want/need either. Usually they will also give the bride and groom a suite for the wedding night. Many are premium hotels, so their room block may not be a price point your guests want to spend and you will likely have to find another close by less rxpensive spot as a second option. Most require a day off wedding planner.
Weddings are such a big business now, that if you are in a large metro, there are usually other all-inclusive venues. These are usually less expensive than hotels. Some even have chapels. Some restaurants even have dedicated spaces that work, especially for outdoor weedings, indoor receptions.
Renting an event spot and doing everything yourself often ends up more expensive than going with a location that provides the catering.
