AA delayed a flight 7 hours on Saturday before cancelling it and giving us no help, monetary or otherwise, in finding lodging. Rebooked Sunday for a very early flight, got home 24 hours late.

Any good places to relax near Vegas, within a day or so drive? I'm taking a long road trip and ending there and want to relax somewhere before flying out. Ideally not more than $200 a night. Understand that it's the desert but thought maybe some good lakes or desert resorts nearby

To those at V25 firms, how do you view your London office in terms of the quality of work we get and overall importance to the firm? Like is there a perception of us being a step down or ancillary to the big leagues of NYC or not? The big four conspire to pay CPAs far less than we are worth. Partners are paid millions and you’re only making $75k. You should have been starting at twice that.

Do CPAs bill at a rate higher than a non CPA at a public accounting firm or do they both bill at the same rate?
