Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

I just got a promotion, so I'm pretty content right now, but when I was trying to work up the ladder, I would network and be as assertive as possible in meeting making sure my voice was heard.
Thank you so much! I did. I've been waiting on it for so long
One of the easiest and more complex ways to advance is through networking. Sometimes it sucks because you have to put in extra hours to volunteer to get additional work, but I hope it pays well in the future.
Always... I've always been an overachiever, so I can't seem to stop trying to advance. Always doing my best work & also being emotionally attuned to the people around me have helped me succeed. Relationships are everything, especially the farther you advance!
I look around for opportunities to grow like seminsars and workshops. I also network while I'm on it. Make use of your down times wisely.
Yes. I'm pursuing my master's!
I am still trying to figure out why am I being looked over when my work speaks for itself. It’s very frustrating for me, to hold an dual degree in Finance and Accounting. But can’t get an interview. Being self taught in a lot of things hasn’t opened any doors for me unfortunately, so I’m stumped.

Aww I’m sorry to hear that. But I definitely know the feeling. I’ve realized the degree is not enough and networking is very essential in the biz. People have shared that having a mentor helps as well. My most recent advice has been to find the company that’s better suited for you and one that truly value diversity
When promoted to VP it was coz I moved to a different Bank coz I wasn’t growing where I was. So moving played a part in my advancement. Really content now and will think about Director after I have my babies!
