As a Christian, I find it's becoming harder to put up with people & situations that require or engage in a lot of spin and bullshit. And, I find most clients appreciate a straightforward approach on the short-run but long-term it doesn't fuel extension or more work. It seems like the B.S. is a required skill to "play the game" in furthering career progression or prepare client-facing materials. So, I ask, is there a way to thrive in this industry without being overly image-conciouss and "flesh"?
