I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. How concerned are you about inflation? We have 70% savings rate and 50% of our expenses are housing / utilities of which the largest part is rent which is a fixed contract (no CPI escalation, no automatic increases, paying same rent for 4 years). No car as we are living in a large city. So if I look at the components of CPI and what’s rising I am feeling pretty „good“ about it. The one thing I am „worried“ is asset inflation but obviously that benefits me directly. What am I missing?

I have got two offers Accenture and Synechron. Synechron is offering more than Accenture. Can I go to Accenture and ask for salary matching with whatever Synechron is offering? It's almost one and half month I have accepted Accenture offer and my joining is in third week of the August.

I just want to know that will it be correct to ask Accenture for salary matching? What are the chances. Do they agree for such? Please suggest

What are some pros and cons of switching to such options.

And an offer with Legato with (X + 2) LPA as fixed comp.
