Me being in CD&O, I understand the frustration but this is hardly the same thing. If you are not happy with your alignment you can always leave or make a case to switch. This memo conveys a complete different message- standing against bigotry and racism.

A4 is spot on. Accenture pays C&M kids 75k these days and staffs them on the same projects as kids making 49.5k in CDO, doing the exact same role.

I really don’t understand the hate against Diversity and Inclusion efforts. I grew up hearing my parents worry about being passed over for promotions and denied opportunities, due to race. It’s a real concern for black professionals.

I am interested in pivoting from an agency into a traditional business consultancy role. I have start-up tech experience and four years of Strategy experience for media clients. Are there any projects folks in consulting would recommend I take on to add to build on to a resume? From the outside looking in, it seems like there is an overlap in the core competencies of a strong strategist at an agency and a consultant.
