Sitting up such that you’d leave them alone on a tile floor with worrying that they’ll crush their heads? 8-9 months probably?
Cruising around holding the couch? 8-11 months maybe?
Mostly don’t worry so much - if someone looks way off, talk to your doctor, but almost all of them go at different speeds for different things.
Our first barely talked, then at 21 months said “Mommy! Take this diaper off!” Nearly fell over.
You’re doing great :)
Relax. Everything comes at different speeds. No need to hurry, you’ll enjoy all the different things they do in their own time. And almost every new achievement you push for (eg walking) brings new perils too.
As others said, don’t worry too much about it. I’ve got 5 kids, and each hit their ‘milestones’ at pretty different times. Obviously ask your pediatrician if you’re really concerned.
We often put a Boppy pillow around ours at that age when she was sitting on the floor. Gave us peace of mind that you don’t have to dive to catch her when she falls, but encourages the muscle growth from practicing sitting unassisted. I remember feeling like it was taking forever for her to “get it”, but eventually it just clicks!
Mommy. Take this diaper off. Poor baby needed to get it off.
If you want a baby to talk, keep the diaper on for longer than comfortable.
🤗
You’re fine. This is obviously your first child

Pretty useless comment.
