Dear all,
My friend is trying to get into her 1st full-time job. Previously she worked as a UI UX designer for multiple clients (freelance). But she couldn't manage to get an interview call. She is an excellent UI UX designer and an illustrator. If anyone has any options, kindly comment below, I will share her resume. She is a btech graduate with 2 year experience in ui ux designing/illustration field.

I’ll never ever stop updating my portfolio. I update my site as soon as new work goes out (if I’m proud of it). Creatives are judged on their consistency of quality over time.
I hear you. It’s very time intensive but it is a good investment of that time.
I’m.. surprised you’re asking this. Books are literally the most important thing in this industry as a creative.
Some how I still get gigs. Not saying I don’t have a website. The shits just old.
No one wants to see a case study on keynote. As a creative, your website is your most important asset.
You’ve clearly never been to a tech interview
I haven't updated mine in three years and still get recruiter calls. Depends on the quality of your work when you give it a pause, keep meaning to do it but I hard code my site so it's more labor intensive to update but more interesting than the typical plug and play options like cargo etc. I typically do it every three years or so depending on my situation.
