Hello fishes. Need your suggestions. I have worked at Accenture for 2 yrs as a software developer and due to interest in core side, took training in Rv-Vlsi and placed in capgemini as PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER . And it's been 9 months, I didn't get any project. I am much frustrated as I am wasting my imp time. I'm regretting now of leaving Accenture :( Can you give me suggestions on what to learn in this free time? Intel Corporation Qualcomm MediaTek Synopsys Inc. Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

There basically aren’t any. That’s the reality of being a 25 year old that makes that much. Golden handcuffs.
You make 270k with 3 YOE? Pretty good. How about FAANG?
Yeah it's not bad I suppose
1. IB
2. Hedge funds
3. Certain roles at tech companies
4. Startups if they go big
Everything else requires another degree or specialized training that you probably don’t have, such as Big law
Mentor
Not many - I took the paycut as a second year EM (so 4 YOE) and haven’t thought much about it since. If you are in a HCOL market you might be able to find something in tech - I stayed in Midwest which probably added to the challenge.
Is comp the only reason you want to leave? Maybe you can find a side hustle

Becoming a founder of a successful business company 😎
I think even FAANG technical roles might not pay 270k at 3YOE. Not to mention salary trajectory at M could be higher if you are a high performer. Have you thought of doing an internal rotation (or long-term internal project) to get a bit better lifestyle?
If you could pull of a PM role then some big tech will pay you that amount. But it’s going to be hard unless you have a technical background.
Only other possibility is a very well funded startup by taking a ton of equity. You aren’t getting that much at any established company in a business role. And the reality is even at 4 YOE it will be a challenge. So if you want to leave, you may have to accept the cut. You should be able to get north of $200K if you find the right role.
And if you’re currently in a T1 city and interested in remote roles, you can consider lower cost of living places to make things more net neutral.
How the heck are you an EM with 3YOE? The math doesn’t add up. How many years were you a BA, Associate?
Not just McK but clients, too. Often 2+X BAs build trusting relationships w key client stakeholders on long-term studies and that’s how they get their first EM opportunity. And those clients don’t seem to mind that it’s someone who left school 2 years ago instead of 9
