Hi, I been working for Lloyds Bank for almost 9 years now , I recently attended a interview for Barclays and offered an Senior Business Analyst AVP role in Wealth and private banking area. I did not see much difference in the salary offered and it is pretty much same ie 68.5k.But the difference is current role is London based, however the Barclays one is based in Glasgow where cost of living is less in comparison. I am unable to decide whether to take the offer or not..any suggestions will be helpful pls.

Yea, don’t fu*k it up.
@OP, my advice would be (a) Look at the question (b) Figure out a framework to answer (c) start with some hypotheses then (d) use the exhibits given to prove/disprove your hypotheses
I’d advise against looking at the exhibits in too much detail before you lay out a framework and hypotheses!!! Exhibits are designed to throw you off so if you look at them too soon, you’re likely to fall into analysis paralysis mode. Do framework and hypotheses first then look at exhibits!
Have fun with it
Has to be Chicago office, right? Probably the only office that does the written case...
Chi still does written. So do some others. Total mixed bag. Having given and received several formats, I love the written case. Way better than fishing for the right handout
^ The written was my favorite too!
I second C1 - best approach to the written case
C1 that’s very helpful, thanks for the advice!
Is this the second round? I have my first round in November
What city?
I thought they stopped doing written cases. They found no correlation between performance on the written portion and employee performance.
RB 1 Yeah it’s the Chicago office
How could anyone find a correlation on a self selected population anyway
