Because this question can help a lot of people who come to this bowl, I am posting steps to take to access the EY Pathways to Parenthood FAQ, which lists what is covered, what is not, how much is covered, etc. This helped me a TON.

I just got an offer from EY in London but considering based on what the maternity policy is which doesn’t seem to be spelt out in contract or benefits pdf. Does anyone know a) if there’s a minimum employment period to qualify and b) what the enhanced maternity pay is. I’ve read both 16 weeks and 18 weeks.

Also, read the Parental benefits page. There is a lot of really helpful info there. And for specific questions, use pathwaystoparenthood@ey.com. That email address goes to the person who approves/denies requests for fertility reimbursement, so he/she is the ultimate authority and I found them to be very helpful.
I used this process for egg donation, IVF and surrogacy, and received the full $50k reimbursement bit by bit as I submitted expenses that I incurred over the course of a few months. It took me, on average, a few weeks to get the funds in my bank account after submitting them using the process in the FAQ document.
Due to some special circumstances, my wife’s and my expenses were not covered by health insurance. (ours is a very rare case that we knew about going into the process, so we were not surprised by that fact), and I would prefer to not go into details on it. Because of our situation, I am not sure how the $50k and our health insurance work together (or not). I just know that we paid for everything out of pocket and submitted $50k worth of receipts that were reimbursed.
Maybe someone else who used their health insurance can speak to how the two interact. And I know that the people at the email address above can also answer your question.
This is helpful, OP. You didn’t need to but took the time to post this info, it’s much appreciated.
Thank you for posting!
Also a helpful tip: If you do IVF for example make sure the doctor *not just the facility* is in network. Since Pathways is through insurance (e.g. the insurance pays like x % and then pathways kicks in for y% and then you for the rest). I asked for an itemized bill and they billed the wrong doctor so I am having them rebill so that pathways will kick in.
Be sure to ask for an itemized bill and make sure they are billing to the correct doctor (and make sure you select an in network doc!)
