Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. I’m not a recruiter but you should absolutely follow up. What have you got to lose? Make it casual.
Follow up! The holidays are a crazy time and everyone is probably still getting caught up. Always good to get on their radar. Plus, it shows that you’re serious and very interested in the position.
Follow up.
No, it's not a polite way to say they're not interested but it's not a sure indication that they are, either. Yes, you should absolutely follow up and no, it's not too soon - perfect timing second week after the holidays. Good luck
Follow up. Absolutely.
I followed up but no response from either Hiring Manager or Recruiter. Oh well, onto the next.
Thanks to everyone for your comments.
Follow up! While recruiters want/ need to lead this they are human and things do fall between the crack. Also giving bad news sucks as much as getting it so they be nervous or unskilled in delivering
You should definitely follow up - but, that’s exactly what DDB Paris HR told me, years ago. Never made it over.
