Citi double cash for sure
Doesn't travel often (she's a medical resident, so only personal travel). So CSR is not worth the annual fee.
CSR
"Only personal travel"
The $300 credit still applies, most people would hit that. If she wouldn't....
Citi Double Cash
Freedom and Freedom Unlimited - good combination
I'm gonna caveat that: Freedom Unlimited is only good if you also have Ink or CSP/CSR. So if she or you have one of those 3, it's worthwhile (she can transfer points to you if same household)
Freedom unlimited and either csp or CSR. CSR is good for >$5k annual spend on bonus categories. CSP number is $4250. Also valuable for transferring to travel partners. Note that chase's travel and dining includes things like public transit, übers, cab fares, bars, fast food, etc., they're really easy to hit. If you spend more on gas and groceries, Amex everyday or blue cash (either base or preferred version, depending) may be better. Otherwise there's that one double cash card if your spending is all over the place. Might also look into citi preferred or prestige, or others, but I'm not as familiar. I don't generally like airline/hotel cards, they're not as flexible and the points accrual is kind of mediocre.
