Best resources for learning Python? Already pretty advanced at SQL and need to take a jump so I figured python would be the best step forward.

I took courses on DataCamp and think it is really good if you have some backgrounds. DataCamp does not offer a long lecture but offers practical in writing codes.

DataCamp is really good. Also LI Learning offers a number of short courses. There's also the book "Automate the Boring Stuff with Pythom", which you can find for free. It's pretty thorough and provides sample projects.

Think Python by Allen Downey.. the book is freely available: https://greenteapress.com/thinkpython2/thinkpython2.pdf

Also all of Al Sweigart’s books, which are also available for free.

I’ve been told my company is changing my title from Associate Director of BD to Sales Executive. I’m concerned it reads like a title demotion. Is it just semantics? How will this look for my career development? Curious about the standard perception of Sales Executive from a seniority perspective. Where does this land on the sales roles hierarchy? For context, it’s a professional services firm, I’ve been there 3+years, and they gave a Sales Executive title to someone who just started 5mo ago.

Seems like hiring has slowed down but i feel we are in for another bout of great resignations due to companies calling it's employees back now and employees finding ways to continue WFH. The ones who get lucky continue WFH while not so lucky ones will start switching and startups and other mid level companies cashing in on the talent. Looks like it's the lull before the storm.

Quick survey: Do you guys think having a template package to envelope an ML model as an application would be helpful. The package could contain boiler plate template for unit test, docker image, CI/CD, database connectors etc and act as a starting point for doing that. Tech firms usually have that internally but limited options in open source.
