Lol...most worthless cert in the world!
Agree with sm1, pmp equals worthless.
That Udemy course I linked to is from a registered provider and counts as the 35 hours.
Check online for a “prep” course , guy teaches the test and nothing else. That’s it .
I thought so too but I had a friend get way more looks once he got it and literally nothing changed with his resume except a couple extra months of consulting
If it was that worthless I wonder why I keep seeing it as either a requirement or nice to have on a lot of these sweet program manager exits
why do you want this thing
OP, Deloitte offers a bootcamp for pmp - free if you pass it on the first try (you pay for the extra exam if you don’t) but to everyone’s point..... it’s absolutely worthless
Available to anyone d1?
I’m not sure of any restrictions, look it up on intranet “pmp certification bootcamp”, there’re two pages - one cyber specific then the second for other areas. There you’ll find requirements, application forms, dates, etc
The people saying that it’s worthless have the certification, correct?
Doubt it
I do have it. Took the bootcamp and passed the exam a few years ago but never used it. To give you some perspective, I’m an experienced manager in Reg and ops advisory and am talking exclusively about my world - other functions may be different. Lastly, It’s not a “requirement” at Deloitte - there’s the “have a certification” requirement to become manager but no one says it has or should be pmp. If you are a SC trying to fulfill the requirement for your promotion, look at certifications that are actually relevant for your day to day
if anything having it puts on the list for lame PMO work..
I bought a course on Udemy. Cost me $8. Used only this for 2 months took the test and passed. Only got it because it a requirement on a lot of govt proposals.

I have the cert. It’s worth doing. We have all the prep material free from Deloitte. All web based and you can go at your own pace
Thanks guys. Of course just like most certs it’s not required but getting it certainly can’t hurt. Domain certs might be worth my time but I already have most of those. Kpmg I thought 35 hours in classroom time were required ? From a Registered education provider REP
Sweeeeetttt thanks KPMG
