Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.

Started a new role. For 9 years I was the go-to for every question for my team. It was exhausting and I was killing myself to please everyone, but I also kind of thrived on it. No one really talks about what to do once you get Covid-19. Have companies made an effort to proactively educate employees, or create a process to help employees report their illness with next steps?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.

My wife is incredibly stressed out and unhappy in her career. It’s been affecting our marriage significantly. I just had a conversation with her where I asked her to stay home and I said I’ll fully support her. It seems like she took it well.

What would you do if a coworker returned to the office 5 days after testing positive and did not wear a mask in the common area their second day back? Still within the 10 mask period per CDC. Office policy is to adhere to current CDC guidelines. The coworker moved to the back of the room approximately 7 feet away and laughed about it with the only other unvaccinated coworker. Coworker who tested positive also has a history of believing in conspiracy theories about Covid and the election.
