Hello all, I work full time as an RN at the VA. I’ve been looking for a side hustle to do on my own time. I would love to review cases such as prior authorization, records for 2nd opinions, etc. The positions that I come across generally require a commitment of at least 24 hrs which is not feasible. I randomly applied for a job opening with a smaller tech company. Within five days, I got an offer that pays 62% more than my current salary! Just wanted to share a tip for all of those who are looking to connect with former employees - there is a filter function at Linkedin which allows you to do so (and you can combine that with the filter on location - then you can almost always find at least 2-3 people you can reach out to and ask about the firm and practice group you are thinking of lateralling).
