If you have the QAE questions down then you will be fine. I only used the QAE and had no trouble passing.
Thanks!! Did you feel like the weighting of questions/domain was accurate on the actual exam? Like you felt like domain 4 and 5 were about half the questions and the other half was domains 1-3? Any advice is super appreciated, I’m approaching my exam date and am trying not to get too anxious!
I took the CISA with 1 year of experience, and I think the QAE is the closest in terms of structure of the questions. I basically drilled those questions into the ground in preparation for the exam. The exam will feel harder, but just because you won’t see repeats of any questions you’ve seen before. The most important concept is to approach the exam the way that ISACA wants you to, and their official QAE helps you learn what they are looking for. Passed the test on my first try! I didn’t really use any other resources besides the study guide, which I would recommend you read through at least once, and then use to go back over your trouble areas in the QAE.
Do you feel like the domain 4/5 questions were really technical and answer choices super tricky and required a ton of tech knowledge? Particularly on the network security/cyberattacks stuff?
That would be the best material you could get your hands on. You'll do well, for sure. Best of luck!
