Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

No promotion for me...time to quit!
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Lmao. Your performance is that bad OP?
"Laid off" no. "Fired" yes. Laid off is not performance/cause-related and is dependant on the firm's financial outlook. If you're on a project then you're generating revenue / positive cash flow and won't be laid off. If your project is suddenly cancelled and they don't think your skillset will be able to generate revenue over the next year or so then they might lay you off
Yes
Yes, and when it happens, you'd BEST do some Star Wars kid style freak out at the client or go all Office Space on 'em for maximum good stories to tell later

Of course.
Idk maybe... I'm not well loved.
No
Make sure you are a key member and team can't do it without you, you'd won't be fired.
D4 omg whoever that is = complete and total fool 😬 #tragic
I’ve seen it happen in groups at PwC where they were forced to cut headcount and politics came into play. It’s unusual, but it can happen when there are major layoffs occurring.
Yes, I have had that on my project
Yup
Had a guy who was rolled off. Monday call with partner and left the firm on Tuesday.
So anyone seen a layoff while staffed and performance is NOT an issue?
Seen layoff while staffed but pretty sure they were all performance issues
Yes, specially with the new stupid performance review process. I just saw 10 layoffs in the Cybersecurity advisory area. All were staffed.
