About 5 years or so. Started off mining then buying mining contracts and building rigs and then added on trading as I learned about the different exchanges
1 month. Put in 2.5k and my portfolio is almost at 6k. This stuff is too good to be true
I was in back in 2013 then cashed out. I put $350 in back in mid December and I'm up to $9,000 right now. Couldn't be happier.
Deloitte 1 - I am a CPA, I have a professional, moral and legal responsibility to "deal with the IRS". Report your earning, come on.
I've been "in" BitCoin for 3 years, but only financially. I would say I was on auto-pilot until about July or so when I realized how much action there was in the alt-coin space. Since then I moved some earnings to some alts that have done well. I'm mostly wondering what the correlation will be between bull/bear stock markets and crypto market. Right now it's hard to lose, and that scares the shit out of me because while I have certainly tucked away some gains for safe measure, but I'm actually starting to think of early retirement and being close to success is always when you are most scared.
A little shy of 3 years. Too many hours each day lol
Hahaha. That's awesome. For folks in for more than a year, thoughts on current market ?
How do you cash out of digital wallets in USD without dealing with irs?
Eh it's now a part of the process unless you find someone wanting to buy BTC with cash lol
OP - I think the alt-space is where the volatility is this year, so if you are looking for big risk and potentially big reward, then that is the place to be. Good to always have something in the big three, but mostly I keep it there so I always have readily available funds for trades. I don't do day trading, but look at one year horizon and am doing so this year. Spread my money around XRB and XRP mainly, with some other coins as well.
Deloitte 1- you gotta pay your taxes on all events where you swap for fiat and cryptos
@EY2 agreed. I'm seeing upwards of 1,000 - 10,000 percent gains on icos lollll
Wtf ^ help me
PwC2 my recommendation is for now focus on icos that provide platforms for building ecosystems on. Examples are ethereum, NEO, neblio , stratis. Another good kind of coin are utility tokens used for decentralized exchanges and lending. These will be the bread and butter of my 2018 ico hit list. And of course, apply standard due diligence against any ico
