Happy Thursday y’all

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Sleep in a hotel? Use those miles

It’s really simple....you turn down the temperature and they pile on the blankets.
Lmao this might be the best first world problem I’ve ever read 😂
If it’s possible, sleep in separate rooms. Sounds harsh but I have met way too many couples who do this and are much happier. Doesn’t have to impact intimacy if you don’t let it.
We got a mattress pad heater. We have a queen bed so he never turns his side on. But mine is on every night during the winter time. We also went euro style and did separate comforters for some time but missed the intimacy of a shared blanket. So we ended up switching back.

The Ooler puts out around 60W of heat (measured with a meter; it’s a refrigerator after all)
I don’t think you need to refill the Ooler

I’m a warm sleeper but I like to blast the AC and pile on thick blankets to stay warm while I sleep. Sometimes I wake up soaking in sweat but that’s just how I am.
Anyway, maybe two twin size duvets for winter, and one light blanket and a light duvet for the summer? That way you don’t have to share blankets and can remove them if you want, without disturbing your partner?
Following! As the warm sleeper in the relationship :)

Sleep with fewer clothes if you are a cold sleeper

Tempurpedic mattresses come with controlled AC on each side, it can keep you cool while your partner is warm. It’s also like 10k but may be worth the investment
Try a weighted blanket for the warm sleeper. Keeps me nice and cozy and my husband stays cool and comfortable.

Sleep nekkid.
Do that too
I am the female who prefers cold. We have a two sided heating pad for the winter. Cooling blanket for me. We cuddle until he starts cooking me and then I roll to my cooling blanket. We used to change the thermostat on each other. He now has a small heater for his office and I have a fan for mine.
Cooling blanket?? Sounds amazing. What’s it called?
sleep naked and have a small fan pointed to me

My wife sleeps way colder than I do. What generally works for us is our ceiling fan runs year round, we have bamboo sheets, and we've also got a lightweight thermal blanket on under the comforter.
During the summer, I generally flip the thermal blanket down to where it covers at most my feet, while my wife sleeps with it all the way on, and I tend to have at least one arm and most of one leg sticking out from under the blanket.
During the winter, I tend to flip the comforter down to it covering me from the knees down and just sleep with the thermal blanket and sheet covering the rest of me while the wife sleeps all cocooned up.
It's worked out fairly well for us, though we're due for a mattress replacement this summer and I'm eyeing a Purple Hybrid Premier (in lieu of my Beautyrest that I got in 2009) to see if that'll help at all.
Two twin comforters. Have been doing this with spouse for years and we love it.
Cooling sheets with a fan on me. Air set to 69.
Sleep in a separate room
Loving these! Going to try for some quick wins - less clothes tonight, fan tomorrow and looking into the cooling pad for some quick wins. Then maybe see if I can go for some bigger change elements maybe mattress.
Use the Ooler Chilly sleep pad for half the bed you can lower the temp for just you
