Hi everyone! I'm looking to apply for a Strategy and Operations Role at Google . They are asking for 3 years of work ex but I only have slightly more than 2 years of work ex in Operations. Would it make sense to still try for it if I only meet the Operations side of requirements and not strategy side?

I am a Sr. Sourcer for Deloitte Cyber Advisory practice and we have multiple openings within PAM/IAM in our Cyber Identity Group. We are looking for candidates who are technical with specific tooling experience in CyberArk. BeyondTrust, ForgeRock, SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt, Ping, AzureAD, etc. these roles are US based only but we do sponsor if eligible to work in the US.

I know of one person who did this and they exited into a chief strategy officer position
It depends. CSO at Amex ran payments practice at BCG before his current role. I imagine that’s def an outlier though
There are at least two partners who became CEOs that I personally know - Lou Gerstner and David Kenny
The head of strategy at JPMC was one of our partners and now is moving to MetLife as CSO as well. CRO and now CEO of US business was one of our partners. Former CRO and later CFO of AIG was also an OW partner.
Point is: yes it’s possible
