Poll on general attitudes towards open relationships? I’m in one and find that some folks are totally non-judgmental about it, while others are so vicious/rude about it. Curious about your opinions! I understand that every open relationship is different, and each couple defines their own arrangement/rules. For context, ours is a passive one that’s hardly acted on, but we both have Grindr and meet guys for fun on the very odd occasion (whether together or apart). If you’re in one, describe yours!

Going back to work next month. Have a full time nanny but feel like even that isnt enough. I work all sorts of timezones. Europe has my morning, Asia has my evening. Nanny 9-5? 7-3? 10-6? No clue what will work best and don’t want to be inconsistent with her. Any advice on the return?

I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

A long post: seeking some perspective. My husband of 2 years that I’ve been in a relationship with for more than 8 years just woke up one day and told me that he’s unhappy in our relationship. I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

While he is overall a decent guy, his anger issues, yelling at his wife for the slightest issue, and insulting nature makes me uncomfortable and triggers my own anger due to his blatant disrespect for just about everyone around him.

I have realized I grew up in a household where my dad did not treat my mom as an equal. He belittles her, is rude and convinced his way is the only way.

I cheated... we aren’t supposed to do real art in the morning. We watch an art video and discuss in the morning, then in the afternoon we post an instructional video and the kids do a small project at home... I cheated yesterday.
